Nigerian government announces end to banditry and insurgency

There are many different kinds of insecurity, and the federal government has stated again that it will do everything in its power to combat them.

Wale Edun, minister of finance and economic coordination, made this promise while escorting a presidential team to Yobe State to express condolences for the state’s administration and citizens following the recent tragedy in the Mafa town.

According to him, the visit showed that the federal government is serious about ending insecurity and promoting national peace and stability.

The Minister extended deepest sympathies to the Yobe State community and the families of the Mafa assault victims on behalf of President Tinubu.

Members of the entourage, including Nigeria’s National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, gave assurances that the country was approaching the end of its terrorism and banditry problems.
