Germany coach Kathrin Peter anticipates a difficult match against Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The previous champions will face Chris Danjuma’s team in their second group game on Wednesday night at the Estadio El Techo in Bogota.
The Europeans defeated Venezuela 5-2 in their first match on Sunday.
The Falconets, on the other hand, defeated Korea Republic 1-0 in a close encounter.
Peter believes the Nigerian females will be a difficult nut to crack for his team.
“It will be a very different game [from our previous match]. “Nigeria is extremely athletic and physically strong,” the coach told FIFA.com.
“We’ll watch their match [vs Korea Republic] and evaluate how they performed. Then we’ll prepare, and I’m confident we’ll witness another excellent, interesting game.
