Dangote and Bill Gates engage in NEC as Shettima presides

Aliko Dangote, Chairman of the Dangote Foundation, and Bill Gates, Chief Executive of Microsoft, are among the dignitaries attending the ongoing National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.

The summit, presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, will cover a wide range of health and nutrition issues.

Governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Duoye Diri of Bayelsa, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, and Lawan Dauda of Zamfara State are among those in attendance at the meeting.

Deputy governors representing their superiors, as well as certain ministers and state commissioners, were also present.

The conference is scheduled to include a comprehensive examination of the country’s economic policy, as well as the recent increase in fuel prices.
