During the #EndBadGovernance rally in Nigeria, Garba Adamu—a former presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC)—accused the CIA and Ukraine of spreading Russian flags.
Adamu claimed that political operatives within Ukraine and the CIA plotted to undermine President Bola Tinubu’s government.
The Russian flag was flown by a few northern EndBadGovernance demonstrators.
The tailor hiding beneath the flag was subsequently apprehended by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to Garba, Ukraine attempted to export its conflict to Africa with this failed move.
“The Russian flags were most likely spread by Ukraine and the CIA with their internal political collaborators to sabotage the government,” he wrote in an X post.
They have been exposed and have been utterly unsuccessful.
As its confrontation with Russia fizzles out, Ukraine is trying to take its failed strategy to Africa. Take a look at their recent actions in Mali.
They worked with terrorists to undermine the Mali government.
Since we are not completely apart from the Sahel, Nigeria should exercise caution and vigilance in its politics. But strategically, we need to turn that into an advantage for us.
