Arik Air’s operations are once again open for business, thanks to the federal government.
The flights were grounded due to a dispute between Atlas Petroleum and Arik Air, as reported by schoolhubby.
The dispute has been addressed, according to a statement from Michael Achimugu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), transmitted via X.
“The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, and the Director General of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Capt. Chris Najomo, have broken the deadlock between Arik Air and Atlas Petroleum,” the post states. Arik Air will launch today as a result of this resolution.
Additionally, he mentioned that customers of Arik Air can now check in for their scheduled flights.
