Annual Scholarship – Jack Scura Fund
The Jack Scura Fund was established to honor special-needs pupils who have distinguished themselves academically and socially.
The Jack Scura Fund would like to provide a $10,000 scholarship for the fall semester of 2022 and the spring semester of 2023 to those with disabilities who are incoming or are enrolled in an undergraduate program. Our company is built on helping others and providing opportunities.
About The Jack Scura Fund
The scholarship scheme bears John (“Jack”) Joseph Scura II, Esqname. He was a great Renaissance Man and our firm’s founding partner. He valued education, paying for his own college and legal studies while raising four children with his 52-year marriage Kathleen Scura.
He improved the lives of those around him in a modest, altruistic manner. On September 24, 2018, Jack died. This award is intended to continue Jack’s commitment to higher education and community service.
Application Requirements:
Applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below in order to be eligible:
a prospective or existing undergraduate student at a university or college in New Jersey
possess an intellectual handicap, a significant physical impairment, or a mental illness
Student must have a GPA of at least 3.2. (based on a 4.0 scale)
Those applicants who have outstanding resumes or Curriculum Vitae will receive further consideration.
Requirements:
- Disability documents as proof
- Records Transcript
- Two (2) letters of endorsement
- A curriculum vitae or resume
Essay of 600–800 words that responds to the following: Describe a period in your life when you had to overcome a difficulty or setback.

- Specifications for the Media Release Form:
- The grant from the Jack Scura Fund will go to one student.
- Accordingly, the $10,000 scholarship prize will be given out:
- $5,000 cheque for the tuition for the fall semester of 2022.
- $5,000 in check for the tuition for the spring semester of 2023.
- You must submit all papers and correspondence in PDF format.
- A photo of the applicant is required on the media release form.
- Checks will be given to the appropriate office of the applicant’s chosen school.
- Along with the application form and conditions, a media release form is needed.
- The outcomes will be communicated to all candidates by email and/or phone.
- The applicant will be disqualified if the requirements and all applicable deadlines are not met.

The application period will end on June 15, 2022.
All applications will be thoroughly examined by the partners of Scura, Wigfield, Heyer, Stevens & Cammarota after the deadline. On July 15, the Jack Scura Fund recipient will be revealed on our website’s Jack Scura Fund page.
If a student is enrolled full-time at a college in New Jersey, they are qualified to apply.
Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and an intellectual, severe physical, or mental handicap.
The Scholarship Fund deadline
There is a short window of time during which the Jack Scura Fund is accessible. If so, the Jack Scura Fund will send out advertisements to all deserving students pushing them to submit their applications by June 15th, 2022.
