Jordan, the ex-owner of Crystal Palace, comes to regret signing the ex-Nigerian forward, saying, “I wasted my money and time

Simon Jordan, the former owner of Crystal Palace, has spoken out about his remorse over the recruitment of Ade Akinbiyi, a former Nigerian international.

Crystal Palace manager Michael Jordan, who was in command from 2000 until 2010, said that Akinbiyi was a waste of time and money.

In his second season as head coach of the Eagles, he brought on Akinbiyi.

Though he cost £2.2 million, the Nigerian forward who was born in England was never worth it.

Akinbiyi, who is now 49 years old, spent 24 games with Crystal Palace of the Premier League, but he only managed to score three goals.

I regret trading for Ade Akinbiyi. It was clear he was of no use. We both squandered our time and resources; he did the same.

According to remarks from Jordan that were obtained by TalkSport, the reality is that it’s easy to be weak when you refuse to do anything and are then dragged down by the manager’s processes.

You finally know something is wrong, but you keep doing it nonetheless, and then you’re startled by the result.

Everyone was to blame: the player, the manager, and myself. I regret not saying no sooner; yet, as a football club owner, you are either forced to support him or fire him.

Here I am, with my champion, and he claims he wants me. This person is going to drain my bank account and looks completely useless to me.

As I beheld the yacht he was purchasing, I couldn’t help but think, “If I weren’t purchasing that useless, club-footed clown,” and I considered purchasing the same boat.

In the end, I did that, and he was right. I didn’t get a good player or a boat.

While playing for the Super Eagles, Akinbiyi only got in one game as a senior.
