United vs. Liverpool: Ten Hag is a concern – Garry Neville

Gary Neville, a former captain of Manchester United, has expressed concern for manager Erik ten Hag ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.

While pushing Ten Hag to start summer signing Joshua Zirkzee in Manchester United’s Premier League match against Liverpool, Neville made this statement.

Neville responded, “No, I wouldn’t,” when asked by Sky Sports commentator and Liverpool great Jamie Carragher whether he would take a point on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag seems to have an uncanny ability to discover the perfect solution at the perfect moment, in my opinion. On Sunday, if [Man United] were to suffer a heavy defeat, I would be quite concerned about him.

I don’t see that happening on Sunday; United will not suffer a crushing loss. I won’t pretend to be confident, but United has a knack for finding the back of the net when Erik ten Hag needs it.

After last weekend’s loss against Brighton, I believe he needs one. There is some pressure on him this season, but it’s not a huge deal.

We will begin the game at 4 pm.
